MV Corinthian Cruise Vessel

Task & Solution

To eliminate single-point failures and overcome component obsolescence, we retrofitted a vessel’s aging alarm monitoring system with a robust, modern control architecture. The new system relies on redundant Siemens S7-1500R/H PLCs paired with a fault-tolerant network topology, guaranteeing seamless failover and uninterrupted monitoring of critical parameters like engine performance, tank levels, and valve statuses. To ensure complete operational visibility from anywhere on board, we deployed distributed, synchronized Weintek HMI panels across key areas—including the Engine Control Room (ECR), Navigation Bridge, Messroom, and crew cabins—giving the crew immediate, reliable access to real-time alerts.
